17 April 2008

Cherokee Chief Chad Smith selected Pamela Huddleston-Bickford for appointment to the Economic Development Trust Authority Board of Directors. Pamela's nomination resulted in a unanimous vote of the Cherokee Nation Tribal Council confirming her as a director of the EDTA.

"I believe the concept of having an entrepreneur's voice on the board will bring a unique perspective and understanding to those wanting to either build a new company or expand an existing company that will impact the economy of those in the Cherokee Nation". Huddleston said, "Financing and growth is hard enough, the vision that our Chief and his business staff bring to the future of our tribe and the opportunity for individuals to pursue their dream will be a significant basis of fulfilling self determination in the field of business."
